promisemesomething asked: i'm a vegetarian, but i really wanna try some authentic german cuisine. do you know of any recipes that don't call for meat? :)

Hey :) Well, authentic German food is mostly about meat. But some of the side dishes taste very yummy without meat and would make a great vegetarian meal! The most famous side dishes are probably dumplings (Kloß / Knödel), Spätzle (a type of noodle), fried potatoes (Bratkartoffeln), potatoe salad (Kartoffelsalat) and all kinds of vegetables of course.
