It’s over. At least for Germany ;) Last Wednesday, Spain defeated the German “Nationalelf” (national eleven) in the semi final 1:0. The nation was dissapointed of course. I saw a bunch of people crying on the subway on my way back home. But Spain played so well - and I have a feeling they can make it tonight. The finale Spain - Netherlands is going to be very exciting!
I think this Soccer World Cup was amazing and so much fun! The German team, who won against Uruguay yesterday 3:2 and therefore finished third, did a great job and will be rewarded with official honor. Joachim Löw, the trainer, is going to be awarded the Federal Cross of Merit (Bundesverdienstkreuz). Congrats! :)
