yvonnelouise asked: relating to your most recent post and having lived in Cologne I would also say that the Rhine is an important tourist attraction and they also have the very famous Karneval in February complete with agonisingly embarassing songs especially for the occasion and recent years has seen the establishment of a summer pop festival. The local tipple kölsch is also worth a try and the zoo is definitely worth a visit. In summer they sometimes even keep it open until midnight. I can suggest many other items and places of interest to anyone interested :) xxx
