An anomynous reader and somebody on Facebook were so kind to explain “digga” to me. Thank you so much, guys! :)
Apparently it’s a slang word for “Dicker” which means something like “buddy” or “pal”. Greeting someone with “Ey Digga, alles klar?” is used colloquially in the Hamburg area. There’s even a website for teenagers from Hamburg called digga - CLICK.
