Why do Germans do this, and why do think Americans, for example, don't? It made me uncomfortable when I first experienced it studying abroad, but I eventually came to embrace it.
Whaaaat? :D I’ve never heard of that before. That’s creepy!!! I’d love to help you understand what happened to you (probably several times) but I really can’t because I’m not familiar with this phenomenon! I don’t stare at strangers. And it has hardly ever occured to me that somebody was staring at me in a way that was making me feel uncomfortable. Weird!!!
