“du” and “dich” (both translate to “you”; 2nd person singular) aren’t interchangeable. “du” is a pronoun and has to be adjusted when standing in the accusative case (click to read about the four German cases). “dich” is therefore a form of “du”.  Example:

Du bist toll. You’re great.

Ich finde dich toll. I think you‘re great.
