It depends on where you live in the US. Germany is e.g. 9 hours ahead of Pacific time, so when it’s 9am there, it’s 6pm in Germany.

I don’t know what your exchange student is into, but simply try and show her as much of your life style as possible. Show her/him “your” city, your favourite spots etc. Introduce her/him to your favourite food, sweets etc. I’m sure he/she’ll appreciate it :) Have fun!
