Anonymous asked: i'm a vegetarian traveling to study abroad in berlin and munich. will i be able to continue not eating meat there, or is there not many options for protein for us vegetarians?
Absolutely! :) German cuisine is a lot about meat and sausage, but there are also some great dishes for vegetarians. Some of my friends are vegetarians btw. And I don’t eat that much meat either. You will find soy products in many stores - especially in the ones called e.g. “Reformhaus” or “Bioladen”. Those stores sell organic products and they have lots of stuff for vegetarians and vegans. But also regular stores like Aldi sell soy nuggets/schnitzel or tofu. So don’t worry - you can absolutely stick to your lifestyle :)
