Ok, guys. This is one of the most important things in the German news right now:
Our Defense Minister, Karl-Theodor von Guttenberg, is being accused of plagiarism. Apparently, Mr. Guttenberg passed off a bunch of ideas in his doctorate thesis as his own - but they aren’t. He hasn’t only copied a couple of sentences here and there, but also whole paragraphs without quoting correctly. Currently, the university he attended is thinking about voiding his PHD. Pretty intense, huh?
