nashvilleneedsmoremetaphors asked: Would address some of the difference in dialects between high german and Vienese German? Ex: ein bissien (HG) = a bissel (VG), and zwei (HG) = zwo (VG). Vielen Dank!

Hey :) I have to admit that I don’t really know much about the Austrian dialects. But ein bisschen = a bissel and zwei = zwo is not only Austrian btw. You can hear that in Southern Germany, too. Some of Austria’s commonly used dialects are called “bairisch” and have partly similarities with the German Bavarian dialect “bayrisch”. I found this online dictionary Austrian German - German for you and hope this will help you to figure out more differences! :)
