You would wanna look into the eyes of the other people sitting at your table while toasting - “anstoßen” - because if you don’t you’ll have bad sex for the next 7 years! Yeah, that’s what they say to scare you ;)

Then you would put the glass back on the table for a short moment without letting go - “absetzen” - and then you can drink. Prost! Cheers!
