The ihr-imperative in German

posted 1 year ago

Oh man, I’m so excited to tell you that…. The ihr-imperative is the SAME as the ihr-form of the present tense. Gosh, this language is making it sooo easy for you ;) *hehe*

Examples:

folg/en (to follow) -> ihr folgt (plural: you follow) -> Folgt mir! Follow me!

trink/en (to take) -> ihr trinkt (pl: you drink) -> Trinkt mehr Wasser! Drink more water!

Read about the du-imperative here and the Sie-imperative here.
