3 #German tongue-twisters

Ha - we know them all! Maybe we also hated them all when we were kids. Tongue-twisters - sentences that were designed to be difficult to pronounce - even for native speakers. And especially when saying them fast!
One of the most difficult tongue-twister in English is:

The sixth sick sheikh’s sixth sheep’s sick.

Holy…. ehm… ;) Well, let me introduce you to some German ones! Just like many tongue-twisters, they don’t make much or any sense.

der Zungenbrecher (Zungenbrecher) = tongue twister (tongue twisters)
(literally: tongue breaker)

1.) Fischers Fritze fischt frische Fische. Frische Fische fischt Fischers Fritze.
(Fisher’s Fritze fishes fresh fish.)

2.) Ein weißer Whiskeymixer mixt weißen Whiskey. Weißen Whiskey mixt ein weißer Whiskeymixer.
(A white whiskey mixer is mixing white whiskey.)

3.) Grießbrei bleibt Grießbrei und Kriegsbeil bleibt Kriegsbeil.
(Semolina pudding remains semolina pudding and tomahawk remains tomahawk)
